Job description & requirements

  • Job description We’re on a mission to find an experienced, confident and energetic Head of Learning and Participation with a proven track record in developing and delivering high quality learning and public engagement music programmes. You’ll be creative with a passion for music (especially jazz), and have in-depth knowledge of music education practice with at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role managing projects, budgets and people.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our team as Head of Learning & Participation, continuing and building on five years’ fantastic work by our previous team member, developing our acclaimed L&P programme that, in 2015-16, delivered 450+ workshops and performances by/for young people, reaching more than 40,000 people.

    Based at our office in Harrow & Wealdstone, with excellent rail links to London Euston (12 mins), and interchanges at Clapham (34 mins), Willesden (16 mins) and Watford (8 mins), we offer a friendly, professional working environment, generous holiday package, IFSTL, and plenty of opportunities to fulfil your passion for supporting the development of young musicians, producing exciting arts events, and making a positive contribution to the UK’s vibrant arts scene.
